Cocoa is our second foal of 2007. She is the first foal for Raven and it looks like she is going to be a lot darker than her dam or sire, Freddie. She is a very correct little girl and we are going to keep her for a future brood jennet. If we don't pay enough attention to her, she will nip us in the seat of our pants!

Playing tag
Zinger was our third fall baby and the first foal for Grace. His sire is Freddie and he looks like both sire and dam. He is a little darker than Grace and shaped more like Freddie. He loves to play chase which has made it an easy transition to leading...once his energy wears off a little. He is the sweetest of our three foals and it will be very hard to part with him.

Slo-Poke was our first foal of 2008. We had waited patiently for Feebie to have her foal and it seemed like an eternity. The only day we had plans away from the farm was the day Feebie decided to have her baby. Fortunately, our kind neighbor, Karen, checked on Feebie shortly after we left and found our new little foal with mom and all went well. Maybe the animals know that we (humans) tend to interfere more than help and that's why they wait until we are away. Slo-Poke has a great home with Aaron and Michell Haynes and is affectionately called, "Pokie."
