Cupcake was our Mother's Day surprise. Mom was visiting the farm to see the new foals. We kept taking a
head count and seemed to be missing one jennet. Finally, Bandie came from behind the barn with this little
girl by her side. She is dark gray-dun and she has a sweet disposition. We let Grandma name this one since it was her special day. She chose Cupcake.

Gracie is our most obstinate donkey. It seemed we waited forever for her first foal, Zinger. We remembered that long wait this time as she made us wait for her foal this year. We expected her to be the first jennet to have a baby this spring. She was amazingly huge while the donkey below, Falena, was almost half as big. Gracie didn't foal until 12 days later. It was a long wait, but finally she had a beautiful girl with the roundest bottom we've seen. She is gray-dun with perfect, straight legs

Sugarland Pixie Stix

Dam: Miley Farm Falena Height: 20 3/4"
Pixie is the smallest foal we've had. Falena is a very small jennet and she didn't look very big when it was time for her to give birth. It isn't surprising that this baby was tiny when she was born. She is also a beautiful pinkish color which is an unusual mix of the brown sire and light gray dam. For the time being, we are having to keep them separated from the other jennets because she is so small.
